PP Control & Automation (PP C&A) was established in 1967 and has evolved into an award-winning provider of strategic outsourcing solutions to over 20 of the world’s most successful machine builders and OEMs, and is one of the largest of its kind in Europe.
Its facility comprises over 5,500 m², with over £2million invested in the latest automation for cable preparation and test, an Electrostatic Discharge facility, and an in-house training school for over 200 employees.
Solutions could be module or assembly based, part or full machine build – whichever provides the optimum benefit. And these solutions are designed around production capabilities in electrical control & automation, electronics assembly & box build, pneumatics, hydraulics & fluid systems, mechanical design and assembly, vacuum & gas management systems, and cable harnesses.
PP C&A is the founding partner of PP Plus (hence the name), and is no stranger to collaboration. Having also set up the UKMfgUnite initiative during the COVID-19 pandemic, PP C&A facilitated a way of connecting the manufacturing community in its endeavour to find critical components, heed the call to accelerate production of medical equipment, and encourage reshoring efforts.
Furthermore, it is a founding member of the Manufacturing Assembly Network (MAN Group). The MAN Group is unique collective of 8 specialist manufacturers, an engineering design agency, and the knowledge transfer of WMG. The group provides a single source engineering solution for any project involving one or more manufacturing disciplines.
